This hotel is a great find in the heart of Windhoek. Its central location makes it convenient for exploring the city and shopping. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities one would need for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was generally satisfactory, no major issues.

It has nice location

No remote control for tv. No DSTv in the room. Intercom at the gate not working, no parking space at parking. We were wrongly billed. If all these are corrected I will recommend it to others.

Location of the hotel was very central, with easy access to major attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was good with daily alternations. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

There was no elevator which made navigating the stairs and carrying luggage a challenge. Although the room was clean, the carpet had a bad odor.

Was very disappointed in the Hotel. When I made the booking they could have mentioned that the Hotel was being renovated, which they never did. So the smell of paint was terrible, it was very dark in the passages. The service was good and the staff friendly. Would not recommend it to anyone until all reservations are done.

The staff was helpfull and the rooms are good for stay over.

I did book online with Booked.net at a certain rate and when the Hotel gave me the invoice they charge me the standard price of the room that I dit stay in. I had to make them attend on the rate that I have booked on and then they had to phone the Manager to see if they can change the invoice to the online booking amount. The staff must know when the client have booked online to check the prices before making out a invoice.

We loved the hotel's excellent location close to all the sights in the city, making it easy for us to explore on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who gave us a bigger room to the cleaners who were always smiling. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with the menu being alternated daily. We also appreciated the private parking at the back of the hotel and the facilities provided.

Everything was spot on, and we can't think of anything negative to say about our stay. From the friendly staff to the great location and facilities, this hotel was perfect for our needs.

The service was poor. The place needs maintenance badly. The breakfast was sub-standard and very badly prepared. The lift was out of order apparently for the last 5 months. The telephone in my room did not work. The internet connection is super expensive. I will not ever consider staying at this hotel again.

Booked non smoking room, first room reeked of smoked. Was given key to second room, there was already a guest in that room. So wasgiven key to a third room. Staff did not even check first. My colleagues, room had lipstick on the towels. (D Hellberg).

The location of the hotel is quite convenient, as it is near the airport and within a short distance to all the main attractions of the city. there are plenty of shops nearby for those looking to do some shopping. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a decent breakfast provided.

There is no water provided in the rooms, which can be inconvenient for guests.

MessaggioDear Sir, I was in your hotel (Thuringerhof in Windhoek) the night of August 17Th. Check out was on August 18th. I was also in your hotel at the and of July. I booked these 2 nights via web (www.Booked.net) given the number of one of my credit cards . I paid the last accommodation ( August 17th), at the check out, with a different mine credit card . Now, looking on my on line credit cards account, I find 2 payments for the last night, one for each credit cards. Waiting for your clarifications.

Check-out staff painfully slow - up to 30 minutes per person. This is unacceptable especially if one has to get to the airport!!

Parking is a problem, need to upgrade rooms decor, very plain.

When checking in I received a door card for my room. I entered the room and a lady was in the shower. I received a new card for another room. This room was also occupied. Eventually I got a room that was not occupied but there were no towels and no toilet paper and the safe was locked. I waited 40 minutes before the situation was rectified. My colleague had a bed where the pillow cases were missing. The elevator is not working and my room did not have a remote for the tv. That hotel needs implementation of serious quality control.
